Get listed

1. Find out the name of the country and city you live in.
2. Go to The Getty Thesaurus of Geographic Names.
3. Enter the name of your city into the Find Name box.
4. Enter the words inhabited place into the Place type box.
5. Click the SEARCH button below the input fields.
6. a) If the search returns a single item, click onto the name of the item.
   b) If the search returns multiple items, click onto the name of the appropriate item that corresponds to where you actually live.
   c) If the search returns nothing, start over and search again for a bigger city in your vicinity.
   
7. After clicking the name, you'll be taken to the Full Record Display screen. Look for the Coordinates section. You'll need to know the decimal degrees part of that section. If one or both numbers has a '-' prefix (meaning it is a negative number), that's important. Remember to include the '-' in your submission.
   
8. Send Mail to hacmac-wismap@f00.net containing the following information:
